DON'T SPREAD VICIOUS LIES, MYTHS AND RUMORS BEFORE YOU CHECK THEM OUT!

I for ONE am terribly UPSET at the misuse and LIES presented on the INTERNET, by leftist, radical individuals and publications that post blatant lies. The 'FREE WOOD POST' which many people don't realize is an entity passing itself off as a viable 'news' publication, recently posted a RACIST, BIASED, LIBELOUS article on the new NRA President Jim Porter which said in part...
“I don’t have to clarify. You know gall darn well what I mean. In fact, it’s only a matter of time before we can own colored people again. They sure as hell won’t be our leaders. It’s out-right embarrassing. The War of Northern Aggression made it all possible, and you be best to know it’s all gonna change back. I’ll be on the front lines making sure it happens. I don’t want my grandkids growing up taking orders from a colored man. It’s our God-given right to keep them as property and keep them in line.”

I, Robert Weidig, don't presume that anyone's 1st Amendment rights be infringed, but I find it UNCONSCIONABLE to present and promote such vicious lies and slander for obvious political reasons. If we are to be a FREE society, then we can NOT infringe on the people's right to speak their minds, BUT, and I do mean BUT, we ALL have a responsibility to CHECK OUT THE FACTS, before we start copying and passing on such blatant untruths as this disgusting 'Web Rag' puts out there. I am FOREVER finding posts in my mailbox and on Facebook that people have read and passed on without ever giving any thought as to their validity. This is IRRESPONSIBLE and dangerous in this world of instant messaging. Just because YOU didn't write it, doesn't excuse your passing it on as fact or truth. Snopes.com is just ONE place where you can check out the validity of articles BEFORE you post them on your site. I hope you will all give this some serious thought before you REPOST. Government & The GOLDEN RULE

The people in Washington, DC don't care what we think for the most part. They are privileged, progressive, communist, elitists who think they are better than us and they are amoral....Godless...and totally narcissistic individuals. They don't hold the same values we do.
We however, assuming we do have those values, should not lower ourselves to their level. We have a right to defend ourselves and no laws or executive orders or "rules" that they may pass can take that away. That is why our forefathers INSISTED that the British take the first shot. In order to retain the "inalienable rights endowed to us by our creator", we must honor and obey the rules of our creator. In living by the Golden Rule, we will force THEM to break God's rules and then we will be exonerated by defending our rights. Ghandi, & Martin Luther King did what no militant group could do. They stood up for what they believed in, stood fast against oppression, and eventually brought about change. Picking up a gun or starting a revolution is the LAST thing that I want to see happen. BUT if THEY fire the first shot, then it is up to us to respond in like terms. We won some important victories this last election, now that many more people have been awakened to what's really going on and we should pursue all LEGAL means to bring pressure to bear on our so called representatives to do the job we sent them to do, and we have a responsibility to REMOVE them using the electoral system if they do not. WE OUTNUMBER THEM, AND WE HAVE TRUTH ON OUR SIDE! May we ALL come together in this New Year and make the world a better place. Happy New Year!

HEROES WALK AMONG US!

Every decent right thinking American supports our troops, regardless of what their opinion is on a particular given war. But we often forget that those who so valiantly served their country in the armed forces, come home and continue to serve in so many ways. After I left the military during the Viet Nam war, I continued to serve as a policeman, fireman, and paramedic. When those of us who were, or are in the military take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, it does not end when we rejoin civilian life. It is in fact a lifetime commitment.

Every day, veterans continue to serve and do good deeds all around us, but seldom get the recognition they deserve. My dear, dear friend, Tim Baugher is one of those heroes. He served 3 war zone tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia, and experienced horrors most people can’t even imagine. He chose to leave the military and come home to take care of and raise his family, but he has never stopped serving. He is a selfless, unsung hero who is always looking to help someone.

Yesterday, in the course of his job, he was present when another worker suddenly had a heart attack. Without hesitation, Tim stepped forward and administered CPR to the fallen worker until the paramedics could arrive. The man is alive today, because of the actions of my friend, Tim Baugher, Sgt., 101^st Airborne. Having experienced situations just like this, I know the tremendous sense of satisfaction and purpose that Tim felt….I’ve felt it too, and you can’t put a price tag on that feeling. Though Tim and people like him are not looking for rewards or glorification, I salute him and all the others who continue to serve their country and their communities. HEROES WALK AMONG US!

Advice AGAINST Cross-Draw Holsters

A good friend, customer, and fellow Veteran took exception to the fact that I don't like or recommend a cross-draw holster when he asked me to procure one for him...ergo the following is an excerpt from my email response to him...

Not to belabor the point, but I strongly disagree and in fact warn my students and friends NOT to wear cross-draw.
FHP used to wear cross-draw but no longer does...some bad things happened.

In the time of Davy Crockett, by the time the Mexicans or Indians or who ever you had a disagreement with got close to you, you already had your pistola out and were probably blasting away. In a gunfight, the person with the cross draw holster, has to swing his gun in a 90 degree arc while the bandito with the side holster merely has to clear leather.

Today where we can no longer freely shoot first and make excuses later, the cross draw presents a temptation to someone who has confronted us at close quarters, and it is harder to prevent them from grabbing your gun than it is with a conventional holster.

In a panic situation, depending on whether you have a single-action or a double-action handgun, there is the chance that you may have an accidental discharge while swinging the gun to its on-target position.

For these reasons, the cross-draw holster is outdated. Needless to say some of the few remaining old and senile cowboys who are stuck in their 19th century ways would still adhere to the old methods, but time and progress waits for no man. So get with the program you old fart, stop your persnickety contrariness, keep up with the times and always, ALWAYS REMEMBER THE ALAMO!

Do NOT Support GE

We've all grown up with General Electric in our homes going back to when Thomas Edison invented the incandescent light bulb. But unfortunately, things change. GE is now the parent company and owner of NBC and MSNBC. Both of these have become exceedingly left wing in their presentation of the news as they are unquestionably in bed with the party in power. But there is a far more sinister side to General Electric. They have been doing business with our enemies! That's right, with our enemies including Iran. CEO Jeffrey Immelt initially denied any such activities, but when the facts were revealed and he was again questioned, he admitted that they do in fact deal with Iran. So we have a major American corporation providing materials and technology to a terrorist nation which supports other terrorist nations and groups. Well that's all I need to know to stop buying products from GE. As long as these terrorist countries and groups are killing American soldiers, I refuse to support them and use their products. If everyone did so, we could send a very strong message to their stockholders. In my opinion, Jeffrey Immelt is a traitor and I refuse to buy so much as a lightbulb made by GE until things change. The Real Cost to Taxpayers

So, you want a guest worker program? You want blanket amnesty? Read what a California teacher has to say about the REAL cost to the taxpayers for all the Government 'giveaway' programs.

This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet....

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic
and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. ( OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK )

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America .

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements ?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs .

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing , higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc . For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education , that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses
to assimilate , and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about " politically correctness " that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth , a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an " earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled , they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense .

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT!

WHO AM I ?

: WHO AM I... I was born in one country, raised in another. My father was born in another country. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women. I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer. Later in life, questions arose over my real name. My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate. I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but I practiced non-traditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny. I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about them. That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career. I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child. I became active in local politics in my 30's then with help behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40s. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit. I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet and they were small roofing tacks. I drew incredibly large crowds during my public appearances. This bolstered my ego. At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash my country. But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how we could do better and every poor person would be fed & housed for free. I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to start making citizens hate them and if they were envious of others who did well, the plan was clinched tight. I called mine "A People's Campaign" and that sounded good to all people. I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support. I knew that, if I merely offered the people 'hope' , together we could change our country and the world. So, I started to make my speeches sound like they were on behalf of the downtrodden, poor, ignorant to include "persecuted minorities" like the Jews. My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader. I had to carefully guard reality, as anybody could have easily found out what I really believed, if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with. I'm glad they didn't. Then I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth. *Who am I? * ADOLF HITLER WHO WERE YOU THINKING OF? Scary isn't it?
